Here we go again
I am not going to promise greatness. I am not going to promise consistency. I will promiss to catch you up as I can.
Tom- my dear ex husband! He is cheating on his g/f with someone who was supposed to be a friend of mine (boy haven't we heard this one before!!) and has decided that while at my house last Monday he was having a lapse of judgement or instant of insanity when he was begging for sex and now declares that he (not the new g/f) came to the conclusiont hat he is not able to have a friendship w/ me. The only things I am now allowed to talk to him about is the kids. I am not even to ask how his day is going or what's up. I reminded him that it's only because of our friendship that I lowered his childs support for him, I waived his duty to pay half the child care bill, and many other niceities that were unneccessary but I felt like doing on behalf of our friendship. He is in for a rude awakening when in December I get my ass degree and then I will no longer get funding for child care and he has to pay half of that bill!! I am also currently looking out of state for 4 yr schools.
Alan- the donor! We are getting along quite well and it almost feels like it did 3 1/2 years ago, only without the sex! He is coming over this weekend and sleeping over on Saturday. I think it is really going to be so good for him to see Shane's daily schedule as well as for Shane to get some Damian free time with him. Who knows what will come of it, but in the back of my head I know his g/f is pissed as all hell and I don't really give 2 shits about it.
Larry- Mr. Cali! Geez I miss him. We only spent one weekend together but I was beyond nice! "I've tasted blood and I want more, more, more, more!" (Rocky Horror Picture Show) It was nice to be able to be intimate with someone that didn't also carry around a bag of past shit between us. I don't understand it, we were so comfortable so quick and for me that's something new, so now I am counting down the days till an east coast assignment comes along and I can finish where he got off....um... I mean we left off!
Kids- oui! Getting big and bad. Lex's b-day is comming up in less than 2 weeks and she is counting it down. She is now in ballet and loves it. Nic is just being Nic, my supersensitive, always mischievious, willing to help with anything especially taking out the trash munchkin. He wants to join karate or something like his siter. He is doing great in school and hasn't really had any time outs lately which is a feat for him. Shane is just getting taller and taller. He is making amazing progress with his therapist and is in the middle of being evaluated for the elementary school's handicapped pre-school. He will hopefully start Nov. 1st.
Me- Always last! I am ok. Surviving like I always do. I have been doing some serious childhood abuse work with my therapist which has brought about major attitude changes in me. my creative writing class has been an amazing outlet for and stress and frustration and I am loving my hpe classes. Just taking it one day at a time, one situation to the next.
So there is a pretty good wrap up. Also, we renovated Alexys' room and am in the middle of doing mine. I think that about covers it.
